We Play: The Testament of Sherlock Holmes

Watson probably did it

The diary of Mr. Andy Farrant, September 2012 (With apologies to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)

Ms. Jane Douglas, who was usually very late in the mornings, save upon those not infrequent occasions when she was up all night, was seated at the Xbox 360. I stood upon the hearth-rug and picked up the game box she had left upon the table. The title read "The Testament of Sherlock Holmes".

"Well, Farrant, what do you make of it? A cursory examination of the box alone should give you more than enough of the information required to deduce the nature of the game and the enjoyment to be derived therewith. For instance, I see here that the great detective Sherlock Holmes is depicted upon the box. This leads me to conclude it to be some sort of kart racing game, or perhaps a management sim."

"Or we could just play the game itself, and find out what it's like that way?" I ventured.
