We Play: Resident Evil 6 Demo

Published 8 months ago by Jane Douglas

It's Raccoon City all over again, again

Like a Rorschach inkblot or the London 2012 logo, the Resident Evil 6 logo reveals more about the viewer than it does about the thing itself. For though this is the sixth title in the main series, it contains no giraffes and nothing sexy - at least, not in the demo. Believe us, we checked.

That demo, available now, contains a chunk of each of the three optionally co-op campaigns, starring Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and newbie Jake Muller. Press play above to see Andy and I tangle with zombies and mutant beasties in all three.

Also, the system for praising and thanking your co-op partner, as mentioned in the video, is in there but not covered on the control scheme map. Press and hold B, the partner action button, to call up various useful co-op communication options, or just to to give your buddy an encouraging thumbs up. Go on, they've earned it.
