Dead Space 3's new two-player mode brings an interesting, asymmetric experience for co-op buddies in which one character is plagued by hallucinations the other can't see, opening doors and unlocking side missions that remain sealed off in the single-player mode.

Is it a worthwhile addition or will a sidekick spoil the trademark Dead Space atmosphere? Watch on for what we thought after going hands-on with the game.
