Let's Play: Lego Lord of the Rings

We're all aware that one does not simply walk into Mordor, but if this game is anything to go by you might well be able to build a tiny Lego bridge and then walk into Mordor. Lego Lord of the Rings is the latest in a long line of games that replace your favourite heroes and fantastical locations with tiny plastic men and studded bricks. Watch as we play the first few sequences in lightly abridged form, in honour of the movies, and marvel at the prettiest Lego title yet.

As a random aside, Jonathan Smith, Head of Production at TT Games once asked me what my ideal Lego game would be. I said, not unreasonably, Lego 80s Action Movies but apparently Lego aren't down with 18 rated licenses, no matter how adorable the violence becomes when it's translated to plastic. Shame, because a few of those action movie stars have heads the exact same shape as Lego men.
