Let's Play: Far Cry 3 Split Screen Co-op

We're getting to that point in the console life cycle where not only is it possible to coax stunningly beautiful visuals out of the Xbox 360, developers are also finding time to create split screen modes like it ain't no thing. We could have played Far Cry 3's co-op over Live, but we thought we'd experiment with bisecting the screen and seeing how it holds up.

The answer is pretty well. We managed to amuse ourselves for a good 30 minutes while squinting at half the television each. Here are the highlights of our island romp complete with blowtorch death, quad bikes and cardboard boxes stuffed with explosives.
