Dungeon masters

Watch a gloomy new trailer for Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, in which a player and their companion pawns lay the smackdown on subterranean monsters. Dark Arisen, follow-up to last year's action RPG Dragon's Dogma, comes out on April 23 (US) and April 26 (UK).

An expanded edition of Dragon's Dogma, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen includes the original full game alongside the expansion content. On the cursed Bitterblack Isle, says publisher Capcom, players will discover an underground realm with "over 25" new enemies, new high-level skills and augments, and new weapons and armour sets.

There are also more character customisation options and the option to play with the original Japanese voices. How it is you add more customisation options to Dragon's Dogma's bewilderingly flexible character creator, we can't wait to find out.

An import system will let those who played Dragon's Dogma carry over their existing characters. But wait, there's more! Returning players also receive 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones and the Gransys Armour Pack for their Dragon's Dogma loyalty.
