Let's Play Aliens: Colonial Marines Split Screen Co-op

It's not often you get a big first-person shooter that has full, split screen campaign co-op, but for all Aliens: Colonial Marines' numerous and well-documented flaws it does boast this particular tick on the back of the box. We thought we'd spend some time investigating how the game holds up with the screen divided.

We try two missions, For Bella and The Raven. Naturally the visuals take a hit, but given that Aliens: Colonial Marines wasn't much of a looker to start with, it hardly makes a difference. The question is, does the rule that co-op makes a game more than the sum of its parts and, more specifically, does it make Aliens: Colonial Marines fun?
