Let's Replay Red Dead Redemption: Livin' Wild with John Marston

It's what we trained for

In this latest episode of us replaying Red Dead Redemption, we return to the task of becoming a Legend of the Old West, a feat that can only be achieved by knife fighting a bunch of wolves, collecting red sage, and shooting a bunch of birds from a moving train. Try explaining that one to the conductor.

After I lost my Red Dead Redemption saves, we resolved to reclaim my 100 percent complete status by replaying my favourite game of the last generation - whetting our appetite for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is coming out on an unspecified release date in 2017, into the bargain.

This week, we gain several ranks towards our mastery of hunting, survivalism and sharpshooting, and almost finish level one of our self-imposed drunksmanship challenge into the bargain.

There's still time for some random do-gooding along the way as well, with us saving a woman from a pair of vicious cougars, and rescuing a sheriff from some bad guys. The fact that he then immediately charges at a different group of bad guys and gets himself killed should not in any way count against us.
