What do Ancient Egyptians and the internet have in common? They love cats. As such, these fuzzballs are everywhere in Assassin's Creed Origins and yes, praise Osiris, you can pet the heck out of them. Ellen and I do so in this new Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay. Also we slay a monster crocodile, perforate a giant hippo with the multi-arrow Warrior Bow, skewer a bunch of bandits, and raid some Ancient Egyptian ruins. But, most importantly: cats.

The Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay footage above comes 10 to 15 hours into the game from the Nile Delta and Giza regions of the open world.

Assassin's Creed Origins comes out on release date 27 October 2017 on Xbox One, PC and PS4.
