Rare's open world pirate adventure Sea of Thieves is best played with a full crew of friends, so that's why I recruited helmsman Westaway and bosun Ellen from Outside Xtra to help with this Sea of Thieves gameplay fresh from the show floor at Gamescom 2017. Join us for treasure, bad skeletons and us almost sinking when we crash the boat into the island we're aiming for. Yo ho!
Here's Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One X gameplay taken from the enhanced Xbox One X version of Rise of the Tomb Raider with its "4k enriched visuals" setting. Look for updated graphical effects along with the boosted resolution in the raiding of this spectacular tomb, where by raiding we mean utter destruction.
Here's Middle-earth: Shadow of War gameplay taken from the Shadow of War Xbox One X enhanced version. In it, Mike and Andy ride a tree, attack a citadel, rescue some dudes from Gondor and meet Idril, a Gondor shieldmaiden.
After a hearty meal of glazed meats, Luke and I venture out to hunt monsters in Monster Hunter World, the first game in the popular series to arrive on Xbox. Stick around as we track and fight the iguana-like Great Jagras and formidable brute wyvern the Anjanath in this Monster Hunter World gameplay.
Here's Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Gameplay in which Andy and Luke take new fighters Gamora, Jedah, Captain Marvel and Ultron for a test drive on levels New Metro City Downtown and Xgard Bifrost Bridge. Behold!
I discover a horrifying new fave in this Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer gameplay, set on new multiplayer map Gibraltar: a Winchester 1897 trench gun loaded with incendiary shells, for a 'Dragon's Breath' flamethrower shotgun effect as harrowing as it is spectacular.
Hope County, Montana is the setting for Far Cry 5, and seems like a lovely place. There's beautiful scenery, plentiful fishing, and wide open skies, perfect for flying planes around in. The main drawback is the violent doomsday cult members who keep trying to kill you, as you shall see in this Far Cry 5 gameplay.
In featured Hitman contract Plywood and Paste, Agent 47 must return to his old ICA training grounds and ensure four targets meet with 'accidental' deaths. Are there enough accidental kills to go around at the ICA Training Facility? Watch and find out.
In Slime Rancher on Xbox One (free this month in Xbox's Games with Gold scheme) you play a slime-wrangling slime rancher, capturing slimes for your up-and-coming slime farm. A slime is a kind of space hopper that eats and poops.
This week in our ongoing Red Dead Redemption replay, we take a break from the main storyline to do some "Stranger" side missions. If anyone asks, that's how we ended up blackmailing a politician with sexy photos, kicking an old guy off his land, and chatting to a possible ghost bride about her definitely still alive husband.
Hitman's Contracts mode is a list of missions designed by other Hitman players. In this particular contract, we've been hired by an animal rights activist who wants us to take out a big game hunter from a distance, with a rifle, an ironic kill that echoes the way he kills his animal victims. Because our client loves all animals, large and small, they also want us to kill the two exterminators working to deal with the hotel's bug problem. See how we get on in this Hitman gameplay.
After all the trouble we had trying to find Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella down in Mexico, it comes as a pleasant surprise that our final target, Dutch Van der Linde, is apparently perfectly happy to come to us, choosing to attempt to rob a bank in Blackwater, directly opposite the building we go to to get yelled at by the FBI. Will we catch him in the act? Tune in to find out!
Hitman's Contracts mode is a list of missions designed by other Hitman players. In this particular contract, we have to off three targets in Sapienza, in accident kills with a falling object, while dressed as a Renaissance plague doctor. Not the most subtle of contracts, but a lot of fun, as you'll find out if you watch this video.
Now we're hot on the trail of Dutch in a race against the clock to save our family, we thought it would be the perfect time to wander off an do some of Red Dead Redemption's sharpshooting challenges. This week, we kill bears with a single shot, shoot hats off heads, and disarm our many enemies. Will we achieve the coveted rank of Legendary Sharpshooter? Watch on to find out.
Sequel to Wolfenstein The New Order, Wolfenstein The New Colossus picks up after the events of the previous game. Because hero BJ Bazkowicz ended up a bit blown up at the end of New Order, he's been in a coma and is now wheelchair-bound. Hasn't made him any less deadly, though.
Sponsored content: Gigantic is a free-to-play strategic hero shooter game that features enormous battling creatures, at least one of which is extremely huggable. We may be strategically inept, cowardly butterfingers but we do love giant, adorable creatures. Here's how we got on the Ghost Reef map in the Xbox One version.
We've finally made it to Blackwater in Red Dead Redemption, which means we're hot on the tail of our old gang leader Dutch Van der Linde. Or, as hot on the tail as you can be of anything in Red Dead Redemption, which means we're first off to investigate a haunted boat. Still, we do catch a glimpse of our quarry in today's second mission, which is great, right up until the point where he shoots us.
The Entertainer is Hitman's 26th Elusive Target, and the final Elusive Target of the game's first season: a man who goes by the name "Mr. Giggles" but is much less jolly than that makes him sound. He's the face-tattooed ringmaster of an underground circus that features dogfights, bare-knuckle fighting and, if we don't do something to stop him, pandas apparently eating each other. Hit the jump to watch us track him down in the busy Marrakech night market and steal his nefarious client list in this Hitman gameplay.
After all the gatling gun train missions down in old Mexico, we finally catch up to our old gang mates Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella. Will we show mercy or shoot them in the crotch as many times as our current dead eye level will allow? Watch and find out!
Jason returns! We're back in Friday the 13th and Mike has a shot at his bloody revenge as supernatural serial murderer Jason in this Xbox One gameplay. Who will get put on a coathook? Who will get trapped in his own trap? And where the hell are the car keys? Watch and see.
Hitman's Contracts mode is a list of missions designed by other Hitman players. In this particular contract, our hit is on behalf of a hairdresser fed up with a group of people playing music loudly during what they describe disapprovingly as "weed parties", because this hairdresser is apparently also my mother. To send a message, they want 47 to murder the group using scissors, which seems like a bit of an overreaction, but hey, it's their money.
It's Marston Monday and we're still in Mexico in Red Dead Redemption. Our patience for John's tolerance of the army is starting to wear thin, what with Coronel Allende kidnapping a bunch more women and cackling about how he's going to kill their families. On the plus side, Allende says he's captured Williamson and Escuella for us and has them tied up in a church in Chuparosa. Watch on to discover if that is the trap it most definitely sounds like.
In this Friday the 13th gameplay on Xbox One, we are teen counselors stalked by supernatural serial killer Jason Voorhees, striving to repair a car and escape Jason's hunting ground. Who will find the car keys? Who will survive? Who will be sacrificed as Jason bait? Watch and see, why not.
Hitman's 25th Elusive Target is The Fugitive, an internationally wanted criminal who has booked into the Gama facility in Hokkaido, Japan for facial reconstructive surgery. That's going to make identifying him tricky, what with the new face and all, but Diana is on the case and will be feeding us info as we go.
In contrast to last week's adventures in Mexico spent helping out the rebels, this week's Marston Monday sees us take the side of the army. This is a decision we immediately regret when said army starts executing people with firing squads and burning down villages. Let's hope Luisa doesn't find out.
