On the Hunt for Legendary Beasts in Red Dead Redemption

Best of the beast

This week in Red Dead Redemption, our goal is to reach rank 10 of the master hunting challenges, and cement our reputation as the greatest hunter in the Old West. Standing between us and that lofty ambition are four legendary beasts, scattered around New Austin and Mexico. Join us as we hunt them down in this Red Dead Redemption gameplay.

On discovering I lost my Red Dead Redemption saves, we resolved to reclaim my 100 percent complete status by replaying my favourite game of the last generation - whetting our appetite for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is coming out in Spring 2018, into the bargain.

The legendary beasts in question are Khan, a rare jaguar found in Mexico, Lobo, a black wolf who lives near Aurora Basin, Gordo, a massive boar from Stillwater Creek, and Brumas, a legendary bear who makes Nekoti Rock his home.

Only by tracking and skinning these beasts will we be able to call ourselves master hunter and also feel pretty bad because seriously, there was only one jaguar in the whole game and we just shot it. The things we'll do for 100 percent completion.
