Show of the Week: Fortnite Battle Royale and 5 Worst Bus Journeys (Besides Your Commute)

The last of bus

Fortnite: Battle Royale drops you and 99 other players onto an island with a periodically shrinking playspace, and carries on until only one of you is left alive. So yes it is like PUBG - but with key differences. For one, you arrive in a bus suspended from a hot air balloon 10,000 feet in the air, which you're then kicked out of. And yet that's not the worst bus journey we've endured in a videogame, as proven by Show of the Week.

Take for example the desert bus from Penn and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors, which asked you to drive a bus from Tucson Arizona to Las Vegas, in real time, going no faster than 45 miles per hour, in a feat that took eight hours of real-time driving.

There are no passengers, no scenery and the bus pulls slightly to the right, meaning you have to give it your constant attention or it'll veer off the road, at which point you will stall and be towed back to Tucson in real time.

If you do manage to make it to Vegas, you are awarded one point, and asked if you want to make the return journey. It is, with no hyperbole, the Michaelangelo's David of boredom.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is out now for free.
