Show of the Week: Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout and Andy's Battle Royale Challenge

Back to black

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 adds a battle royale mode by the name of Blackout, and Show of the Week takes the public beta for a spin ahead of the game's launch in October. Take a watch of Blackout gameplay and discover Andy's aptitude for 1-vs-80-player Call of Duty.

Blackout's roomy arena is furnished from classic Black Ops maps, populated with veteran series characters such as Reznov and Woods, and matches the slick first-person shootering of a Call of Duty with the popular PUBG format - without the speedbuilding fiddliness of Fortnite. Andy and Mike predict big things for the mode in this week's show.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout beta is currently live on PS4. The Xbox One Blackout beta and PC early access beta start on Friday 14 September, and the PC open beta starts on Saturday, September 15th

The Call of Duty Blackout beta on all platforms ends Monday 17 September 2018.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 comes out on 12 October 2018 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
