We Get Attacked by Killer Potatoes in Retro Horror Game Back in 1995

Spud curdling

We've gotten to the era of retro-inspired games where they are imitating Playstation 1 titles and Back in 1995 takes aim at the classic Resident Evil games. That means gritty visuals, tank controls and awkward camera angles. What we don't recall from Resi are the killer potatoes you'll see in this back in 1995 Xbox One gameplay.

It turns out some things are probably best left in 1995, particularly the distorted textures, repetitive exploration and terrible combat. Still, we had a good laugh imagining the adventures of an air conditioning unit repair man making his way through the potato apocalypse.

Back in 1995 is out now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
