People are always saying that we never finish a game, so here's a treat: we play a whole game from start to finish, and it only takes 20 minutes because that game is Captain Commando, a Capcom side-scrolling beat 'em up from 1991 that stars a ninja, a mummy, and a baby in a mech suit.

Lovecraft horrorshow and then stick around for another one-off challenge, in which we try to take down the final boss of the original Quake, Lovecraftian deity Shub-Niggurath, or as he likes to be known, "The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young". Violence never truly solves anything, except in videogames, where it solves everything. Except! For the handful of special occasions that call for non-violent lateral thinking. Hot on the heels of our last video in this topic, here are your suggestions for sneaky ways to resolve a conflict.

Gamers are used to overcoming obstacles, but sometimes there comes a moment in otherwise good games where things are suddenly so tedious, hard, or scary that they make you go "You know what? Eff this game". Watch on for the moments in games that made us do just that, and subscribe for a video like this every Thursday.

The news that Fallout 76 would be a multiplayer game left us with the same mix of emotions a person would feel upon entering a Vault Tec vault: excitement, confusion, and the feeling that it could all go very wrong, depending on how things played out. However, we've now seen a little bit of how it does play out, thanks to a three hour hands-on session with the game, and are here to give you a better idea of what to expect when you head out into the West Virginian wasteland next month. Here are seven things we did, in this brand new Fallout 76 gameplay.
The temptation is to play wrestling games like beat em ups: you punch your opponent, do your big moves, hit a finisher, and then pin them. But ask any pro wrestler and they'll tell you there's much more to wrestling than just that. So we did! Ask some wrestlers, that is, about the things you need to be doing in the upcoming WWE 2K19.
Sometimes in videogames you will often find yourself in possession of a weapon or ability that seems great at first, only to discover that when you use it, it's more trouble than it's worth. Here are just some of the times we've encountered that very thing.
GTA Online's After Hours update allows players to purchase their own nightclub, a Los Santos hotspot that provides a place for the city's pleasure-seekers to unwind, as well as an opportunity to launder a ton of dirty cash. Join Mike and I as we open our Vespucci Beach destination venue Maisonette, soon to be the watchword in unaffordable drinks and seizure-inducing ceiling lights.
WWE 2K19 is on the horizon, promising an expanded roster, a new indie-based career mode, a Daniel Bryan Showcase mode, and more of a sense of fun, according to developers 2K. Join Mike and Andy as they nerd out about wrestling and then later in the show, beat the heck out of each other in a WWE 2K18 backstage brawl as Jane watches on in horror/amusement.

Movies get their ideas from all kinds of places, including games, so it's probably only fair that games are ripping off movies with the kind of shameless abandon of a kid borrowing some else's homework four minutes before it's due to be handed in. Consider seven of our favourite examples.
We recently toured the very worst places to have a fight in fighting game history, but it turns out we were only scratching the surface, because fighting game characters really will fight in any terrible place. Here are yet more places we'd fight to not to have a fight in.
The upcoming Soulcalibur 6's most high-profile new character is Geralt of Rivia, hero of the Witcher series and a force to be reckoned with thanks to his two swords and mastery of magic signs. See Geralt in action in this Soulcalibur 6 gameplay.
Gene Rain is the answer to the question "what if Gears of War, but bad?". It casts you as a member of a "death squad" fighting aliens, monsters and, thanks to some fairly slapdash localisation, "swollen scorpions". Watch Mike and Andy get to grips with Gene Rain in this Xbox One gameplay.
From Dracula's Castle to a tomato-throwing festival to actual literal hell, these non-regulation battle arenas are fraught with risks, inconveniences and garment-ruining tomato juice. Think before you take your fight outside of a standard competition ring, by which we mean watch this video why not.

In Hitman contract Vaping Vengance we've been hired by Big Tobacco to kill Amos Dexter, the elderly Texan who is in Hokkaido for a lung transplant. The client has demanded 47 electrocute Dexter, to make his death look like a vaping accident and, we assume, his cigarette habit look less lethal by comparison? See how we get on in this Hitman gameplay.
